The Vacation Wife A Hotwife Romance edition by David Stone Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
- I hate labels, I really do. But Ryan, our primary male character in this book, spent a good deal of the time trying to put the occurrences in this story into categories. I've read 2 stories from this series and I believe the titles are misnomers. Even though they are titled as "hotwife" stories, I do not think that is accurate. These are more polyamory/open relationship stories. Indeed, the wife in this story becomes a secondary character. I can't even call it a happy swingers tale as I doubt many lifestylers would be comfortable with the arrangements in this story. It's got more of a 70s-coummunal-free-love-utopia feel to it than anything. So, I would call it a polyamory romance rather than a hotwife novel, just by definition.
Yet, this is a very enjoyable read. The author is a great writer and I love the dialogue between the characters, especially Marci's witty banter with Ryan. She became my favorite character and seems like she would be fun to hang out with and Ryan is a likable, thoughtful guy as well. I think the story is a bit fanciful with regard to how things would work out with that many people and relationships involved but still it was fun and thought-provoking. It's a good read but not truly in the hotwife genre if that's what you're hoping for. - David stone never fails to deliver. Good read
- This book was really ridiculous. I had a hard time getting through it because it was so outlandish and SO predictable. Seriously, do not waste your time.
- The Vacation Wife, by David Stone, was a good story although I prefer the mountains over Mexico. Very good ending.
- A five star might be a little high but the ending pushed it over the edge. Maybe the one wife law needs to be revised?
- I enjoyed the story line, however, I was hoping for more scenes with the neighbor, Greg. He could have been a bigger character in the story. Overall a good read.
- Easy, exciting ;) read.
- Author's consistency
