- Bought this for my honeymoon in Rome and it was very handy since we had our phone data off most of the time when we were wandering around. I loved that it was laminated so it didn't get wet during unexpected storms or when it was in my husband's Camelbak that leaked, and it folded up and fit perfectly in my small cross body bag. Also bought the map for Venice and it was just as helpful.
- I needed a map of Rome, as was advertised. This map is of a very small portion of Rome. Should be advertised as " a very tiny area of central Rome with large portions obscured by insets and legends" Did this guy pay for good reviews?
If you're expecting a folded map of the whole city of Rome, go else where. - Used it in Rome a couple of weeks ago, worked well, wish it covered more area.
- Good laminated map of central Rome. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it didn't provide map for areas beyond the city historic area of Rome.
- Nothing replaces a well designed and accurate map. We tried using GPS on our phones which generally worked okay getting from point A. to point B. But a map lets you see what is off our route.
- Really nice. Big enough to read without reading glasses.
- Love this map, it is spill proof and easy to read.
- This covers only the very center of Rome. It's useless if you want a map that covers sites on the outskirts, such as the Appian Way or Ostia Antica. Even if you're only interested in the center to Rome, it's inconvenient It's printed on both sides of the card, so you have to flip back and forth, not really getting a feel for the entire area. Your hotel can probably provide you with a free map that does as much. On the positive side, it is easy to read and the coated paper is durable.
